I think I have spent the entire weekend at the piano. It feels good to have my muse back so that I can work again. I'm actually looking forward to showing my new work to my music advisor to see what he thinks.

Kabaji, thank you again for lunch. It was exactly as I remember it being in England. I believe you've managed to make me miss the place with how good your food was.

My father has left 5 voicemails for me in the last 24 hours. I have yet to actually listen to them and I'm hesitant to hear what he could possibly want after everything that's happened. It could hardly be good news.

The piano needs tuning and several strings could due with replacing. Wakashi, if you see someone in the penthouse that you don't know working on the piano that's what is happening. I called a specialist to make sure that it's perfectly in tune.

Wakashi, we should think about picking out the rest of our furniture. I went in the guest room today and it looks unbelievably bare.

Classes are picking up quickly. I am managing to incorporate both my music and history majors into my bachelor's essay. The history of traditional music should be fairly interesting a research topic.

The start of another packed semester. I'm in all music and history classes, though, so it should be a fun semester. My muse seems to have come back to me now that we're in the new penthouse. It is a relief to be out of the old place and into somewhere Wakashi and I can call our own.

I find now that I have someplace to live that isn't owned by my father I am extremely eager to get out of his penthouse. It's a wonderful place to live, but it's just one more thing he could use to control me. Everything is getting boxed up and moved this week.

Gakuto, if you would like to help us unpack that would be appreciated. We're having movers pack everything, but we'll need to unpack and organize everything in the new penthouse.

Ibu-kun, I hope taking care of the animals at the penthouse wasn't too much of an imposition. Wakashi needed me in Tokyo and I couldn't take them with me when Gakuto's weren't even there when I left.

Shishido, I was your secret santa and managed to work that part of your gift into your regular Christmas gift. I will get it to you when I can, but let's just say your bar will not need restocking for a while. I hope.

Wakashi, I was not imagining things. Your cat has befriended a mouse. It's like a Disney movie. I'm calling the exterminator tomorrow. Where there's one mouse there are likely to be more and I'm not going to deal with it.

My father has finally figured out what I pulled off and is throwing a fit. Wakashi, he does know about you. Please be careful. Gakuto, I just want you to be aware of what's going on in case this backfires on you since I used your lawyers.

The process is going along as smoothly as possible. It looks like the paperwork will be completed on the 28th. So... why do I feel like something is going to come up and screw everything up?

School has had me swamped for some reason. It must be the sheer number of classes I'm taking this semester. However, there is a lull for a couple weeks where it doesn't look like I have too much to worry about except for a composition for one of my music classes.

In a month I will be free of my father. It doesn't seem real, but the paperwork is going through the court systems and I will have my inheritance. My father is going to furious when he finds out, but if all goes appropriately he won't find out until the paperwork is through the system.

The lawyers looking into my mother's will finally got back to me on what they've found. I'm not sure, but it looks like they may have found a loophole of some kind. I need to look at it when I'm not half asleep.

I'm sitting in a business meeting that I have no interest in and will never have anything to do with in the future. It's giving me a migraine, but I doubt my father will accept that as an excuse to skip out on it.

I finally heard from my father and I was right to predict that I wouldn't like what he was up to. Thankfully it has nothing to do with Wakashi or my mother's will. He wants me to fly back to Tokyo the next four weekends to be a part of meetings about mergers and acquisitions. This is going to be hell.

Gakuto, are you available this weekend to hang out? Wakashi's going back to Tokyo and with everything going on with my father I probably shouldn't go back without telling him.

My father has been eerily quiet lately. I haven't heard from him since early last week which means he's up to something. I just can't figure out what. Wakashi, try not to worry. I still doubt he knows what he's not supposed to and I should be hearing any day now about the will.

Gakuto, if your lawyers call you and say that I'm suddenly employing them it's because they're looking into my mother's will for me. I need to be free of my father and soon. It's possible that he knows that I'm with Wakashi and that it's serious. If he does know about Wakashi and I... well... I'll break free sooner rather than later and just deal with the consequences.

Wakashi, I have Gakuto's lawyers looking into my mother's will. Hopefully things will work out and we can stop worrying.

Despite what Wakashi wants me to believe it's apparently not possible to keep from bringing work home from my internship. It's ridiculous what he expects me to get done in a day. The constant e-mails from my father to my supervisor checking up on my "progress" isn't helping anything either. I'm tempted to just call in sick tomorrow so that I don't have to deal with it for another day.

The only good thing about this internship is that I get to go home to Wakashi every day. I swear I'm going to make my supervisor disappear in the near future if he doesn't start acting like one. It's obnoxious to have him deferring to my experience in business which can't possibly be more than his.
